Minerva Marketing Projects is the operating name of Claire Sutton, a freelance, self-employed Chartered Marketer (“we”, “us”, “Minerva”). For the purposes of data protection law, Claire Sutton is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

We only hold the data necessary to offer the services provided on our website. We do not ask for or use more data than necessary to provide you with a professional service. This means we only process and hold data related to projects and any subsequent support relating to those, in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR. 4. How Long We Keep Your Data

We only hold personal data for as long as necessary to perform a project, provide ongoing support or meet our legal and financial reporting obligations (for example, financial records are generally kept for six years in line with HMRC requirements). Once data is no longer needed, we delete it. Personal data is not stored in a CRM system.

Customer data is stored and backed up securely. Our email and website servers are within the UK.

6. Your Rights

As someone whose data we hold, you have the right to:

• Ask us to correct any inaccurate data (right to rectification)
• Ask us to delete your data (right to erasure)
• Ask us to restrict how we use your data in certain circumstances (right to restriction of processing)

We never sell, rent or exchange mailing lists.

8. Data Sharing with Partners

Should we ever need to share any of your data with a business partner, we will specifically seek your prior approval, except where we are required to share data with our own professional advisers (such as our accountant) for bookkeeping and financial reporting purposes. Where we request your approval, we will always fully disclose how your data will be used. Even when we have your specific consent, we only share data with partners that operate their own privacy policy in full accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

9. Marketing Communications

In accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), we never send unsolicited bulk marketing emails (commonly known as spam).
